Considering that clock is kept in KOMBI and broadcasted to vehicle systems via K-CAN bus something is wrong with your KOMBI. Two things that do not correlate well with battery/charging: CID still shows 'Set time' and KOMBI does not show time. I'd say you need a new KOMBI.

Sometimes I have been of that same opinion but then I ask myself, why ...the following:
DME/DDE OKAY 2 Error stored•
27EE 64•
2774 C8•

These errors keep coming form the DME....NOT the KOMBI, never had any KOMBI errors yet, one would think that if KOMBI is F$$%ed the errors/faults would be against the KOMBI and not the DME??
Yet car runs great so if the DME is broken would that be the case?
Also KOMBI selftest did come out OK,
See DIS screenshots, would let me to believe KOMBI might not be the culprit here...no??

Have been suspicious of my charging volts as they fluctuate randomly continuously from the low 13 volts to 14.5's, as a matter of fact have a regulator in the mail to me as I feel it is worthwhile to eliminate that as a possible cause.
Battery is a dealer installed OEM AGM by PO less than a year ago.

connect volt meter to battery charge point under the hood while engine is running. the voltage should be a CONSTANT 14 volts DC if not the problem is very likely ALTERNATOR

Engine NOT running 12 to 12.9 volts.

Received a new regulator a couple of days ago and will starts replaced it as soon as I get the chance to do so, I tend to agree with you on the charging volts should be constant and not fluctuating but I asked around and one of the "better" indy's here said it was ok...a few months ago but I got to not believe him either and ordered the regulator just in case....

What also made me hesitate on the charging being a problem here in my case was the fact that even when car is not running the cluster acts funny and has done that since I owned the car only has gotten worse since....

NEXT Question:

Could the registration of the battery/IBS last year have been incorrectly done cause any of these weird symptoms?
Reason I am asking this is because the partnumber of the IBS in INPA reads 9184203, serialNr: 28058.
And according to the label affixed to the IBS see attached pics the numbers do not match and also the battery registration in DIS comes out rather strange, see attached also.

YET in INPA under the Powermodule info the batterietaush(Battery replacement) is recorded at 46440 kms.

One has to wonder if this is causing my problems and then HOw to correct that............

Played around with Tool32 to ensure the battery registration was done correctly and iDrive and everything functioned just fine during and after, now two days later (car had not been started since)
Went for a drive today and car runs ok but iDrive is non existent and the CID stays dark, no response to either control buttons or the 3 finger salute.

Any ideas on what I can do tho fix this?

See here as to what I was doing with Tool32:

Hooked up car and in INPA re-activated the D-CAN module and radio and CID came back on, have no idea why it apparently went on Transport mode or what ever mode as I did not do anything to turn anything off that can recall.

BUT..have a slew or errors that wont'go away now at least could not clear them with INPA, or are coming right back all of them instantly??? WTF.

I must ask... was there any water spill in the trunk prior to the issue?

Not that I can tell, no visible signs of that ever occurring, of course only got the car 9 months ago and cannot be sure.
Thanks for thinking......LOL

If it was my car I'd start looking into K-CAN bus and modules that maybe screwing up the bus.
