Step 6, removing the trim piece from the Car Communications Computer (whew!):

Many thanks Rudy for all of your hard work to dig up the instructions. Based on my discussion with the BMW parts manager, I believe the new center trim instrument panel for MY05 will have only have the wood under the CCC (so it is not necessary to remove the CCC), thus I should be able to stop at step 4 in your sequence of events posting, substitute the new panel and reverse the order.

On another subject, why don't you take the plunge and register for the forum? Not sure why you haven't yet, there's really no risk and you might actually become a regular around here. We won't bite! (Okay, at least most of us won't bite -- I can't speak for Iceman or Flowerfred!
