Hi,
I tried to remove the front door trim panels yesterday, I followed the PDF instructions on this website but couldn't get them off. I removed the screws, and managed to un "pop" all the connectors from the bottom and the sides of the panel, so it was "loose" and was hinging just along the top near the window. However, I pulled/pushed/levered with a fair amount of force in all directions but could not get the panel off! Could somebody tell me which direction the door needs to go to "unclip" from the top, and how much force you need? Is there a special technique?
And yep - I've disconnected the battery and am ready to unplug the airbag! I've already got my amplifier in the boot, fitted new speakers in the rear parcel shelf, have my SWS-8 subs for under the seats, and just need to get my new speakers in the front door

Moves the door upward, but there are a few things here:
Puddle lamp wires on the bottom, door lock rod, door handle to open the door, airbag connector, night lamp wire (very short on the top)...
Becareful. Don't rip the door out with too much force or you'll brake some wires, especially night LED wire. This job should be done with two people. One is holding the panel, the other is prying out the panel. Otherwise, you can easily drop the panel causing wire ripped.
Good luck.
Let me know if you have any more question.
