My Ride: Currently: (3/1/06) 2002 530i black on black prem, sport, cold, xenon.
A Service Advisory Bulletin has been distributed to address a rear strut issue. Looks like occuring on new, not delivered 5, 6 and 7 series at VPC.
Can any dealers on the board get their hands on this and provide some more details, such as VIN range and estimate to repair?

This is the email I received this morning, this is the only thing I know about this, and I have not been able to find out anything more.
There are some vehicles that are going to be held up at the port ? this affects the 5, 6 and 7 Series only. Please don?t call Carol ? we don?t know yet which ones will be affected. I will keep you posted on this through out the week.
I will let you know when I get more info.
Not very encouraging. I really wish someone could get to the bottom of it for us waiting on cars....
