Default Bilstein Shocks / Struts?

Good Morning. I am planning on replacing my shocks struts on my 04 545i w/sport. I know the Bilstein Sports are the way to go for this setup. I had a question on bumpstops. I know the front struts have integrated bump stops. Do I need to get rear bump stops or are those internal as well? I currently have 124k on the original Sachs Shocks / Struts.

Next question, can I replace the front now and the rears at a later date or do they need to all be done at the same time? I believe one of the fronts struts are leaking as told by my mechanic. I haven't checked out the rears yet.

Thanks in advance!

Since one of the front struts is leaking, replace the fronts as soon as possible.
You can replace the rears later, unless the rear strut(s) is leaking as well.

rear bump stops are not internal like the fronts IIRC. you can replace in pairs at different times if needed.

Thanks All!

With 124K should I replace the front wheel bearings? They currently do not have any issues, however if I ever have to do it, I will need to undo everything again, which means another wheel alignment.

I just got some B8's (part of a B12 pro kit) and the rears came with bump stops on the shaft.

I only replace wheel bearings when they fail. I'm still on two original wheel bearings in my E30. Wheel bearing replacement does not require an alignment.
