Exclamation

Quick post for anyone still on the fence about whether to buy this year or next. I received a memo from BMW FS that states "monthly rates in January will still be competitive but no where near where they are now." Remember, if you do a credit application this year, you lock in December's programmed rates until your vehicle arrives. Just something to think about.

Happy & Healthy Holidays to all my friends on 5series.net!!

when I ordered/applied for credit for my vehicle in October, rates were different than when I took delivery in December, my CA was able to use and give me a better rate with the December numbers, so depending on the situation, are you truly "locked" into the rate at time of order?

Correct. If the rate improves between the time you do the credit app and delivery, you can certainly take advantage of it. However, in this case, the programs are going to be more expensive.

Case in point is Sergey. When he ordered his 550i from me there was no rebate. The month he picked it up there was $4000 which lowered his payment quite a bit. Not bad.
