Finally you got your baby back here in California!! Looks it takes a bit long from the Port to custom, VPC and final delivery. It is very helpful... Thanks a bunch!

Well boys, my ship has come in but my car is now somewhere in VPC land. My dealer says I should have it in a week but what I hear from this forum it might take longer. Hopefully, Port Hueneme isn't too backed up.

My 545 came in on the Grus on Nov 29th and is still in VPC land. The dealer tells me they have to change the catalytic converter and then smog test each ED vehicle. They are unable to say when it will be loaded on a truck for Santa Ana. Sigh, more waiting!

I ordered my car from Sterling BMW in Newport Beach. Crevier wanted a $4000 deposit just to order a car with a color they apparently did not like. My deposit to order from Sterling was $500. Crevier is a nice dealership but I didn't like the large deposit required.

Sport Pkg, HUD, NAV, 20-way Comfort Seats, Prem Snd Pkg Logic7, Htd Rear Seats, Rear side impact, Cold Weather Pkg, Fold Down Rear Seat/Ski bag, Soon 2B chromed rims. Picked up in Munich, Drove it to Prague, Vienna, Salburg & Bremerhaven. Put on 1300 miles. Enjoyed driving it 140mph on Autobahn (4,400 rpm).

Looks like Beewang got a fast track through the VPC! Lucky Guy. PaulK, SPDriver and I are all still waiting for ours off of the Grus. I complained to the General Mgr of South Bay BMW today, he finally got through to someone at the VPC and they said there has not been a delay in the delivery, everything is on track as it should be. The Mgr said I should have the car by the end of the week. Our cars have been at the VPC for almost two weeks vs. 2 1/2 days for Beewang. I think we are getting the shaft! :bashwall:

Hey PaulK & SPdriver, SB BMW just told me my car's expected delivery date is Thursday 12/16 . Bout time!!!!!! I just made an appointment for the clear bra installation & early oil change. Good luck with your delivery dates!
