Finally heard from my SA, and the vessel carrying my car is due to arrive 11/20, and should be at my dealer about a week after that. I know there are several others on the forum that also have cars on the same ship. Just wanted to touch base with those members, and see if the anticipation is still bearable. It is killing me... o:)

My 545 is scheduled to arrive in Port Hueneme on 11/14. Don't know what ship. Does anyone know what ship it would be and if it is on time? I'm also hoping to get the car before the Holiday.

We cannot get any boat name, vendor name for our west coast delivery, but we are very lucky because of Beewang! :thumbsup: He got it by his ED shipment!! :thumbsup: Our ship name is "MS Pegasus Diamond", NYK line. It left Bremerhaven on 10/24 and will arrive at Port Hueneme on 11/18 originally. Now, 11/19, or 11/20??? :'( :blink: :(
Looks Jared1234's 545 is also next to ours. please double check for your SA. I think Pegasus Diamond is only the ship for west coast around 11/18.

Yes, that was me responding as guest. Forgot to log in from my work computer. I believe you are right about the MS Pegasus Diamond being the only ship. My SA says 11/20 is just an estimated arrival date. Beewang seems to have the best handle on this.

Just found out my 545 is on a ship called the Fuji and is still scheduled to dock on the 14th of Nov. in Oxnard. The Pegasus is not the only ship.

Okay fellas, here?s the deal:

BMW currently use two different shipping companies:
1) Wallenius Wilhelmsen
2) NYK Lines
If your car is on board of Wallenius ship, you can track the ship?s schedule by simply input the VIN number of your car as the cargo ID at their website. See link below:

If your car is on board of NYK?s ship (like me) then you are S.O.L. as NYK does not have that ability currently at their web site (Maybe next year but not now).

Since I know the ship my car is on, I am able to use my contact at NYK?s office and check up on the progress.

I don?t want to pester my contact at NYK Lines so I am limiting my check-up on the ship?s schedule on a weekly basis (every Friday). I will post the latest estimated date tomorrow.

1) MS Pegasus Diamond was originally scheduled to arrive Port Hueneme on 11/22/04 The current timing of 11/29~11/20 is much improved.
2) There is a boat arriving Port Hueneme practically every other day Here?s a short list that I am aware of: :geek:

Quite frankly? knowing the name of the ship is absolutely useless :wacko: ?.car can/do get damaged all the time and VPC will have to fix it and thus delays the process. :|
