Both are cracked all the way through here. Its funny, my car was in an accident and had one of the headlights replaced. But, the new one still cracked. I guess they didnt change the bracket to prevent cracking.

how long ago was it replaced zipper? Just curious because the new ones they put in are plastic like the old ones, so I'm not sure we won't be hearing about this again down the line.

It would be helful if some with cracked brackets would list the last three digits of the part numbers. That would give us a good idea as to whether the new part is more stable.
Expectations would be for:
307 = cracked
308 = cracked
633 = not cracked
634 = not cracked
What we could use would be some verification of expectations.
