I love this forum.. It is very grown up! No people bashing each other and serious threads with people really trying to help each other. That's what it's all about!

Pitty that we don't have the thumbsup smilie!

When I visit RoadFly, the tone of the posts immediately introduces hostility into my mood. On this forum, I feel nothing but congeniality -- people helping people and expanding the knowledge basis of our fine machines.

Hi, my dealer told me today that the bracket is of very little importance!

Could that be because he doesn't have them in stock? . . . or did he have a better reason?

Very little importance?!?! That sounds like a BS answer to me. With the headlight on the passenger side, where my clip had completely broken through, you could physically move the headlight unit by hand! Just imagine what could happen to the alingment of the unit over time with the bumping and vibrations of daily driving.

Great news parts arrived earlier than expected, so got them replaced as I was picking up my car after the minor repairs on my bumper.
Part numbers are as mentioned earlier in this post.

63.12.6.949.633
63.12.6.949.634

I believe it does make a difference as the bonnet now seems flusher/level around the light section. This of course may have been a result of the bumper removal though.

So I must disagree with jmcaiado's dealer. It is important.
