cant figure out what this warning light is.

My Ride: 2013 535i xDrive AW/Black M-kit
i looked all over the manual and the internet. is there a list of warning lights and meanings? maybe i over looked it but i cant seem to find this light that came on for a few hours the other day.
it was a ! in a triangle with an circular arrow around it and the also said BRAKE in amber above it.
anyone know what this means? Im assuming it has to do with the DSC and the brake (duh) but why would it go on for about 20 min then go off? i drove for a few minutes then restarted the car and it was still there for another 10 min or so then just went off.
