Car looks awesome
One less person on Tony's list
I hope I can get the rest of my stuff as promised this week.
BTW, I think your rear bumper is off just a little bit, on the right side by the tailight. It looks like it could go up a little to meet the quater perfectly and also close the gap between the light and the bumper. Maybe its the picture ?? Maybe its me ??
Otherwise, looks beautiful.

Mods: Full M-Tech Kit, ACS Rep Rear Window Spoiler, ACS Rep Rear Deck Spoiler, ACS Rep Quad Diffuser, ACS Rep Exhaust Tips, Remus Duel Exhaust, De-badge, 20% Tint Front and Rear, Umnitza Predator Ice V2, HID fog lights, Clear Side Marker Light Bulbs (yellow when on), Dark Poplar Wood Shifter, Dark Poplar Wood e-Brake Handle, Dark Poplar Wood Steering Wheel Inserts, OEM Steel Pedals, OEM M Footrest, 19 inch OEM 121s (Summer), 18 inch 124s (Winter), Shadowline Window Trim, Blacked-out Kidney Grills
I just wanted to post a follow-up. I received my kit on the 13th. I installed the kit that weekend. I am still awaiting final word on my pending deployment. The rear bumper wasn't packaged well and had some rubbing damage, I was able to touch it up. The front bumper has a couple paint blemishes. The right side skit has a fly stuck in the paint (actually stuck in the clear coat - damn!). The diffuser has an area where the clear coat ran and globbed up. Over all, I received my kit in 5 weeks. I paid $2350 for it (then I had to pay another $540 in German customs fees - grrrrrrr! - $2890 total) and the paint is far from perfect. I can say that it looks great on the car and this episode in my life is over.
I could have ordered the kit from my German BMW dealer delivered from the factory painted for $3070 and had it in 7 days. In the end, I wish I would have done that and not had to go through this. Good luck to all that still have orders in, Tony is trying to make everyone happy.

I don't know why some of you guys are having hard time understanding it, but Iceman's post was specifically addressing the editing of prior posts to remove criticism or negative feedback.
That's what happened here, and it's not in anyone's best interests for members to do that as it quite simply paints a false picture of the member's true buying experience. Iceman's position is entirely justified. Editing that completely changes the intent or meaning of posts relating to buying experiences is an incredibly bad idea. To do so does a potentially grave disservice to the entire E60.net community, as members on here may subsequently read them and rely upon them without realizing that history has been re-written. In the situation that Iceman describes, the reader has no idea that what may now contain praise was once entirely justified criticism. The reverse, of course, holds equally true.
Ultimately, neither scenario paints a wholly honest and accurate picture and that harms the integrity of the marketplace that has been created here on E60.net.
The comment about being paid to do so was a throwaway remark. It was quite clearly hypothetical, and was not in any way part of the substantive point that Iceman was making.

I think that says enough about WHY I use such extreme examples, doesn't it?

Yes, he is TRYING!
In the end everyone will receive his stuff. But you need to be aware that it can take forever!

Very true. One of the main reasons why i purchased my m5 bumper from him, there were no complaints and everyone seemed very satisfied with the outcome of their purchases. If i had read about these problems before i would definately look elsewhere.

The obvious question to me is who did Quad-m bump to send Jake his items at a "premium" price?

Everyone who paid "discounted" price, especially those who bug him the most.
