How come?
what phone are you using?
I can pair i see a paired device in my phone but it does not recognize any services.

In the car: BMW phone pro
Cellphone: Nokia 6310i
And I also have the BT headset for the Nokia 6310i.

I can't connect my Nokia to the car.
With the phone pro I can receive, read, write and send SMS. But to write them I have to use the handset and can't do it on idrive, and you are not getting informed by a beep or pop up message about incoming SMS. All you see is a little closed envelope in the idrives status bar.
I don't know if this will be fixed...
It's the same with missed calls... no message...
And when somebody calls you while you are having another call, you get one short beep, and no message... and before you can switch to the incoming call it's allready disconnected...
I sure hope BMW will fix those bugs...

I think with the BMW pro phone case. The iDrive sees the handset as a headset. While in the other case where no BMW pro phone is present and BT module is availalble, if you pair the mobile phone. The mobile sees the iDrive as a headset.

This is only my own analysis and i'm not sure if BMW will address this issue in their software updates.
