bluetooth 2006 525

I am trying to use my bluetooth phone with my 2006 525 but it doesnt show up in i-drive. I was told that bluetooth was standard feature on the car. can anyone help? thanks
2006 525 only option auto trans.....

Some of the exact screens may have changed with the various versions of software but you might want to look at the Bluetooth and telephone manual (starting on page 5):

My Ride: 2006 525Xi, premium package, premium sound, steptronic, bi-xenon adaptive lights, PDC, rear sun shade, rear heating, cold weather package.

press the I mode (just press down the iDrive knob)

Go to "Communication "

and turn the iDive knob to the right, until you see "Bluetooth"
it is there for sure.
