Anyone managed to pair this to an E60 yet ? thinking about getting one, I know that phone book probably won't transfer but I don't use that much anyways.

 

Yes - although it is not without its foibles. To clarify, it pairs fine, but, in my pocket, won't actually do anything useful, like being able to launch a call from the i-drive, or answer a call with the steering wheel button. However, a few weeks ago, by chance, I stuck it in the cubby under the heating/ventilation controls, and it started working. You need to ring out twice every time, as the first time doesn't go through, and picking up doesn't always work first time. However, it is usable; if not as seamless as a T610, for example.

Hmm, doesn't sound so good, I was hoping that calls could be answered from the steering wheel button and number would display on idrive (not name as no phonebook transfer)

I also would hope that voice dialing would work. I wish I knew someone who had one I could go check it out with.

Would the firmware version of the jam affect performance ?
