Any new news on this? Will bluetooth be available anytime soon in the US?
I just bought the CPT9000 and eject box, I just got tired of the dealership not knowing what is the deal with bluetooth.
I also received the little blue card about bluetooth with mi car, what does that mean?
Is there any website with information about this?

I noticed from this forum and different forum that people in the US have been receiving a card for blue tooth that has the a code on it (pass key). This code is used when pairing devices. I didn't get a card with my car but the passkey is the last 5 digits of my chasi number.
From my experience with BT pairing you don't need a unique passkey. All you need to do is enter the same passkey in both devices when pairing.

I also noticed that you don't need to use a key provided by BMW. With pairing my second phone I just used 525 on both devices and they paired......
I have a Nokia 6310i. It creates two extra settings after pairing.
1) headset, I know that one.
2) loopset, does anyone know where that's for?

Hey guys, I think you need to make a difference on the BMW bluetooth kits;
1) is the communication between the car and your phone usin bluetooth, it should allow you mute of the radio, picking up a call, selecting # from your memory, dailling numbers and usable from the multfunction steering wheel (it's the same on the E46. It should work with every bluetooth compatible phone.
2) you have the cabling kit which gives you roofantenna and charging the phone, for this you'll need a snap-in adapter and here is an issue, it doesn't exist for all phones.
The two are independant form eachother, so if you're discussing retrofit maybe you van order them separatly, I guess in working hours the kit for the power and antenna will cost you most and has limited functionality.
I've used on my wifes E46 the bluetooth for several months without the snap-in adapter for months because it wasn't available till May. The only difference was charging the battery and the exterior antenna (which doesn't make much difference if you don't put your phone underneath your seat)

I was looking thru yr specs & noticed you were getting a full M tech sport kit. I want one too.
2 Q's: is it possible to retrofit the aerodynamics (front, side, rear spoilers)? is it possible to obly buy the M tech spoilers (dont want steering wheel & M rims, happy with 124 style)?
TIA
