Just adding another data point. Yesterday I had the iPod connection installed in my Jan 04 545 - no problems, ~$500. Also, I asked if they could try the Bluetooth install - they said it was a crap shoot for cars built that early, but it actually worked with just the software upgrade. My Blackberry 8800 pairs seamlessly - woohoo!
