Just off their DTM Championship victory, BMW announced that it would release two special-edition cars that commemorate the company’s 2014 Championship win.
According to Automobile Magazine, BMW is developing a performance version of the i8 potentially dubbed the i8S, although it may be called the Mi8 or i8M to keep with BMW’s performance tradition.
The BMW M2 will be a standalone car that is fully developed by the M Performance Division. If rumors are to be trusted, it might only come with a manual transmission.
