So these are 19" VMR710s with 245/35/19 on 8.5" 35 ET & 285/30/19 on 9.5" 33 ET. Nitto Invos are the rubber.

I wanted to let the future know that with stock Sachs on H&Rs the backs rub on dips. Maybe with stock 275s they wouldn't. For sure with the 45 offset 9.5 wheels there would be no rubbing. A 38ET would probably do it in my set up.
I am not really hip on the rolling because I don't like the thought of winter salt/brine collecting there.

Yeah it's the usual fitment for these. I do have an XI which is the same.as an Xdrive.
I ended up snagging a roller from Ebay and rolling the fenders a bit. No rub now.

Thing is, Im a little strange in the sense that I really like the look of the TE37 or the varrstoen ES2 replicas. also love the enkei RPF1 … having trouble finding a source for the enkei wheels on the 5x120mm offset though, and who knows if they have the 72.6mm hub available. it seems people have done it, but I don't know if they are using spacers or hub rings...
any chance you are getting rid of the black style 124's in the background?
Hi all- I love the look of TE37s, but I dont want to fork out the $3000+... I found some replicas that I am interested in and I was wondering what you all thought? from the hours I've spent pouring over this thread it appears they should fit perfect on the XI. Thanks!
So, I contacted the vendor for te37 reps and the hub bore is 73.1 mm. I could get rings but I figured if I'm buying new wheels I might as well stick to factory 72.6mm. I ended up ordering aodhan 19" LS007. I think the look of the wheel compliments the car quite nicely as I wanted something not too aggressive.
I got the same wheels in 19x9.5 and 19x8.5 both et35
Just got the wheels and tires installed today. Couldn't be happier with the fitment and the look. the final wheel/tire weight was about 52 lbs, previously 59 lbs with the run flat and stock style 124's.
I did a ton of research on forums and it payed off. I had seen many others going with the 285/30 rear and 245/35 fronts. Although these keep almost identical to stock overall diameter, I wanted to keep the slightly more protected and slightly "comfier" larger sidewall. I went with the 275/35 rear and 245/40 fronts. I'm so happy I did, the car still looks aggressive, and I have more protection for the less-than-high-quality rims I purchased. I honestly like the look of the slightly beefier sidewall, it makes it look more powerful or something... <<<<<totally non-tangible opinion here...
I know I'll get some flack from folks who thinks the car looks 'lifted' but honestly, my stock suspension with 110k miles is probably sagging the 1/2" of height that the car "gained" from going with a 0.9" increase in overall diameter. I'm super happy with results. I also believe I will be fine with lowering the car 1" in the future. If I need to do a mild fender roll I can do that as well.
