Hey guys I have a couple of questions.

What is the optimal tire size for 19" wheels? I'm in NY so I would like some extra sidewall. I will also be at stock height for a while, so keep that in mind.

Next, what is the best offset for a nice, flush stance, front and back?

I'll be sure to post pictures once I have the wheels mounted! They're O.Z. Ultraleggeras.

For those that run or have run X5 rims (+48); What spacers did you use in the rear?

This is an excellent thread. I've benefited greatly from the collective knowledge produced here. Thank you.

Quick question(s):
I have a 2009 535i x-drive touring/wagon. I've purchased four 18 x 8.5 wheels (35et) so that I can rotate wheels/tires as necessary to extend life. I'm considering using a hub-centric spacer for the rear wheels, simply for cosmetic reasons. So...
1) Can someone recommend a safe/optimal spacer size?
2) Is there any downside to using a rear spacer with regard to the x-drive system?
Thank you so much for the help.

18" Forgestar F14 wheels wrapped in Continental DWS tires 235/40/r18 all around. Specs on the wheels are 18x8.5 et30 all around.

^^On Craigslist ad. Will that fit my 06 530xi without any hassle?

This is a great thread on Suspension! after a lot of reading it sucks not having many options . Check out my xi sedan with F10 M5 wheels. Do you think I need a spacer for the rear? the wheels are staggered with rear 19x9.5" 35MM off set. Right now I am riding on oem shocks and springs. Im looking to buy bilstein/H&R combo! Anyone selling any? but Im hearing about how rough the ride is, I hope its not too bad..

The tires are too small for your car. That's the stock size for a 2008 Audi A4 for example. E60 should have larger diameter tire. Stock is 245/40x18. New M5 has even larger diameter tires.

The wheel size and offset will work fine but you'll need to be sure the wheels have correct center bore.

Hello,

I will order bilstein B8 dampers and h&r springs for my e60 530xd. But i'm afraid that only the front will be lowered like some people on this topic...

After how many km/miles the dampers take the final state ?

EDIT : other question, when you set the h&r springs (-35mm) with the B8 dampers, the car is really lowered by 35mm or less?

I'm afraid that the car is lowered only by 15mm or 20mm ...

Hey guys, need some advice. I am trying to decide on a set of wheels for my 2006 530xi. The problem is that im stuck between 19's or 20's but the real issue is that im not sure how much can I push as far as offset, on wheels. Im riding on kw v3's and the stock 535gt wheels and 35 tires with 15mm spacer in the rear and 5mm in the front. sets just right, but i want to stretch my tires and get that perfect stance. My question is... if I run 19's, can I go 30 offset in front and 20-25 in rear and still be ok?

Default Staggered setup?

Questions on my current 6 series wheels no idea what these are called. But the fronts are 19x8.5 and rears are 19x9... What should my correct tire size be for a staggered setup for AWD?

Also has anyone heard of Triangle Tires any reviews???

I like 17s and I like the way that these wheels look. How big of a spacer can I run on these wheels?
