Congrats V. Now have you decided on wheels yet? Are you secretly ordering DPE's and not telling us?

Spring is almost here - you've got to get it hooked up!

I got convinced to do this by PraiseTheLowered, so if anything goes wrong, at least I can hold him responsible

Yes, I found some old threads.

Perhaps I need to be the first - that'll either make me a cool trailblazer or an idiot

I'd love to be able to get DPEs, but I'm ... not getting them this time around.

For what its worth, I like the design

I cannot give you a first-hand account of their reliability/durability - there have been varying reports on VMRs. But for the money, the look is quite good IMHO

So the following info is (of course) to be verified, BUT!!! I've been finding some interesting stuff in terms of coilovers for Xi. I'll just post up some of these links here and hopefully, we'll dig up the truth working our way from here. But if there is an option of 1000 dollar coils for Xi, its like a no-brainer IMO. Here it goes:

K Sport coilovers for Xi models (price: $971.44, free shipping) :
http://www.jdmhub.com/index.php?rout...43_26410_56663

Here, and it looks quite questionable, but these guys are offering KW Street Comfort coils for Xi (price: $1,740.38):
http://www.carstuffoutlet.com/produc...=p1654-c163215

This place offers the K Sports for $971.50:
http://www.caraccessories2go.com/pro...id=p268-c21523

Main news of the day being that - apparently, and still subject to verification - there is another option (or maybe even several) for coilovers for Xi. This is monumental!

K Sport's web site does not specify XI fitment, but it does say it fits E60/E61 in general:

Nice find V!!!

I think I need to give Ksport a call to verify te fitment - let's hope it's not simply an omission on their part. Does anyone have experience with Ksports. Any good? PTL?

Add me to the list of Xi owners looking into wheels....i've been looking for monthes guys...i want to do wheels and coilovers (KW) at the same time

Wheels
1. 19" staggered VB3, i got a price of about $1950 with tires mounting, balancing and TPMS sensors
2. 19" V710, i got a price of about $2100 with tires mounting, balancing and TPMS sensors
3. Miro 19x8.5, i got a price of about $1900 with tires mounting, balancing and TPMS sensors

In regards to the coilovers, i was told that there is no need for the V3 and to purcahse the V2...i got a price of 1850 for them

Sweet CC rate! And I thought I was doing good with my MBNA 1.9% for life (helped finance my E60)!
