Hell if I was the owner I would easily give $400 to $500 to get the mole. In LA alone this guy can sell 2 dozen on Craigslist alone at $500 a hood. No question

Someone should approach the shop and discuss it with him. Actually I have his email. I'll check it out with him
Thanks for taking the initiative. When you correspond with the guy, please spell it "mold" instead.

It's this thing I have with spelling...

Well technically using oem hood for fitting and using vorsteiner one just for the bulge and vents size and positioning would be ideal .

Very good point. That's exactly what we need to do. The OEM hood for proper fitting and then the M5 Vorsteiner for the bulge and vents and so on. Anyone here has good ties with Trinity? I am sure ge knows someone with a M5 vorsteiner hood. Those guys are real nice and I am sure they would assist us in tracking one down in LA or Orange County?

Wasn't there a guy on the forum who had a Alpine white M5 vorsteiner hood for sale in Florida? My car is white and maybe if the shop owner is willing to put some money towards it. I'd be willing to buy it with him and use that one as a mold and then keep it That's if it makes sense financially. Anyone know his number or contact?
