what just arrived today!!

SOO FREAKING SEXY!!!

Yes I will be painting it, but the vents will remain CF!

Does that hood close with the standard hood latch or do you have to use hood pins?

Just found these pics:



As you can see the VIS hood has a bigger Bulge and vents and is more aggresive.

Yeah thats exactly what mine is going to look like. Except I'm going to paint over the carbon fiber, the vents are the only things I will leave CF.

umm question, how do we install the bmw hood emblem lol thats the only thing i haven't gotten around to yet? are you guys drilling and using the grommets or are you using adhesive?

My friend used adhesive on his vorstner hood for the e92. But I'm thinking of drilling it.
