IHMO BMW's will age more gracefully (4 to 6 years) than a Cadillac.

I almost bought a 1SG STS vs. my 545i. I am even a GM family which lets me get the car for way less than invoice. I test drove the Caddy one Sunday when it was raining here in Southern California. At an intersection turning left, I put too much on the throdle and did a 180 in the car. I was very dissabpointed that the traction control system in the Caddy, didn't prevent it from doing a 180. It scared the Sh*t out of me seing a curb on the wrong side of the car and 65K out the door. After that drive, I took it back to the dealer and said no thanks.

It was a great review for BMW IMO. They note that in every way, the BMW beats out the STS. Sure one sentence about complexity of I-drive and another asking why is the HUD on the STS and BMW needed. HUD is optional on the bimmer...if you don't like it, don't get it. They also remarked on active steering feeling a little weird in the twisties but that time behind the wheel makes it manageable. No Bangle bashing.

By the way, take a look at Dutch Mandell's column in the same issue...very positive about Sirius radio...glad I got that option...you talked me into it Beewang
