Lookie here people: Already the X6 M is very likely to beat the Turbo S.

With a lower weight 2305 kgs (compared to Porsche 2355kgs) the bimmer hits 100km/h in 4.7 seconds (compared to 4.8 seconds) and is able to hit 200km/h in 16.9 seconds compared to (as per fastest laps.com) 17.2 seconds.

Still wanna bet on the Porsche ?

Souveran? Not anymore it seems....

No man!

Shamefully i don't know my country that well !

PS: I wouldn't call transfagarasan a "highway" cuz it's not! From what i've heard it's a great place to drive with lots of bends, ups and downs. Lots of bikers go there too. Never been there though...still waiting to get a proper car to toss around.

Yes. Believe me, no one understates their official performance figures like Porsche. Porsches virtually always test lower than the official times by a massive margin (in fact Porsche reportedly records its official times with a passenger and luggage in the car.)

All I know is that with an ECU remap on this engine, you are looking at 650HP and 600+ TQ. That is going to be INSANE!

My car is so slow now.
Hopefully, that will be my next car when my current lease expires in 3 years. Think of all of the power you could get out of installing some pulleys on that powertrain.

OK OK you guys hold your own! Just fime. We will have to see 3 individual and impartial head to head tests and then we can agree. All i wanted to say is that Porsche may not be Souveran anymore. The fact that it may be under-rated is a more or less point of arguement. I mean Porsche posted a time of 8.6 or so, if i remember correctly, for 0-160 for the GT3 and most of the testers, if not all, struggled to achieve that time. And you could get close to that time in optimum conditions, good quality tarmac, good temperature...etc. As i said: this thing with under-rating the specs is a more or less d-bate-able point.

Thing is the X6 M has all the ingredients to beat the Porsche, at least at higher speeds. It has a higher reving engine, it has the same hp if not a tiny more, it weighs 50 kilos less but it has less torque. Torque at higher speeds counts for almost nothing. I know! So given those facts... i let my logic do the rest. But time will tell if the X6 M is faster or not that the Turbo S.
