I also would like to see USA do well, however, I have been a fan of Germany all my life and would like to see them win, especially on home court. I know Brazil is supposed to have the "beautiful style" among others, and Germany has always been the "technical" team that tries to do whatever necessary to get things done, even if it does not look "beautiful"....but I have always supported them regardless of whether they have had a good, bad, or mediocre team. I guess to me comparing German soccer to Brazil, Italy or some others is a little bit like comparing BMW to Italian cars, MB's, Jags, etc. To most people those other cars are more "beautiful", but to me I like the "technical" aspects of BMW over any of those. That in combination with the driving "feel" and modern design makes the BMW more "beautiful" to me than any of the other cars I mentioned.

I think that what Heezy said is correct. I think that The Oaks restaurant is actually part of the Newcomb Hotel. Either way...it's the place we ate at last year...which was Newcomb...so there is a bit more of a drive beyond our stop at Mt Wilson. I think it's just that we were driving FAST, that made it feel like such a short drive...but it was FUN! (P.S., I'm not leading...too many tickets! 
)
Also, clarification: We are meeting in the SOUTHWEST corner of the parking lot by Starbucks. (This is the NORTHEAST corner of the Foothill/Gould intersection...don't worry...just look for all the E60's!
