Well, it's 20-something E60's and 30-something people...but wouldn't 30-something E60's be just cool. It'll be great to do a photo shoot with everyone lined up in one line., (more impressive), but we might have to be face-to-face like we did for the Silicone Valley Chapter meet. (Eric, remind me to bring your shirt!)

BTW, I also have a pair of walkie-talkies. Eric, if you are unable to pick up Ericdbs', I'm sure others will bring theirs. I almost forgot...I'm picking up doughnuts/pastries, however, I'm not anywhere close to a (What's-the-name-of-that-too-sweet-doughnut-place?), so it will have to be something from somewhere local! If the line wasn't so dang long, I'd get stuff from Porto's in Glendale - good stuff - long freakin' lines! (Anyway, don't forget to get JUST coffee from Starbucks, I'll have the pastries and doughnuts!

Anyway, if anyone is still wondering where and when we're meeting, pm me. I'll have maps to pass out when we meet. FYI, I just checked our map from last year: the round-trip is +/- 70 miles total.

So far I only have a reservation for 30, for lunch at 12:00 noon I can call that morning just to warn them if we have a larger group. I was thinking that it would be nice to take a group shot before lunch, before we lose more cars, but if we're running late we can do the group shot after lunch. I guess we can play it by ear.

Am I missing anything?

Yeah, it will be a logistic nightmare trying to line up 20+ e60s.

BBB, if we leave the meet point at 10:30am we should make it to the restaurant with time to spare right? I know of two, my530i and rodybmw, that will be cutting it close. I'm a soccer fan myself but times like this is why I have a DVR. Don't want to miss out on this Meet!

I managed to invite some folks from bimmerfest as well. Apparently, they have not found this fine forum yet. But, they WILL!

That's great, the more the merrier! I'm actually in San Diego tomorrow evening (work), and Friday for a golf tournament at Coronado, but I'll be back...it sucks, but I've actually got to get to the downtown LA office at 6am to get some stuff done before our meet! That's great - about the bimmerfest folk. The more the merrier! I'm hoping that some day we'll also get some wagons and M5's to join us! Whatever we do, I'd like to make sure we take a real nice shot that I'd like to submit to Bimmer Magazine.

Also, I haven't checked with the family schedule yet, but if anyone is interested, I can continue the drive to Pasadena Art Center, where they're open on Saturday's, and maybe peruse the gallery where they might have some renderings and models on display...ya'll know - the birthplace of Chris Bangle's career. (I've mentioned before that my brother graduated with him.) He gave me some insight I didn't know...something about an older generatin Honda Accord that Bangle helped design? (I know he helped pen the Chrysler Cirrus. Though I hated it, I see the Bangle-butt resemblance with the E60 booty!) Anyway, I'll call ahead of time to see if there's anything showing since it's the end of the semester and the summer session may have already begun. (I actually scoped out their parking lot two weeks ago, to see if we could do the photo shoot there. We could, but there was no convenient coffee shop - unless we ate in their cafeteria? Just another little something to think about!)

Pictures should turn out nice no matter what. I'm more worried about traffic on angeles crest.

Do you have rody's or my530i number, so we know if should wait for them or not?

I'll PM them tonight. If they still have my previous PM I sent out with the specifics of the Meet, my cell number is on there. I'll make sure that they call me as to their ETA Saturday morning.
