Poll is over. Decision has been made.
Mark your Calendars, The Drive will be Saturday, June 24th 2006 Angelus Crest Hwy
Details to follow
Whos interested in another drive and brunch?
Last time we decided that not everyone is interested in a drive but rather are more interested in meeting up and having some food to chat about our cars. So because of that Blackonblackonblack suggested that we should have brunch or breakfast and then go for a drive after. Ya that might be dangerous if we choose twisty roads...
We're still open for opinions tho. Lets hear them.
So which days work best for everyone?
Or if you have any other suggestion we're all ears.
Proposed routes...
Malibu? (Personally I dont like those roads for the E60. Too twisty and too narrow for our large cars.)
Angeles Crest Hwy ( We did this last time it was pretty decent. )
Ortega Hwy? ( East into Julian, up to Mt. Solodad stop to view the Observatory and some open roads, but its a longer drive) Maybe do the drive stop at julian and have lunch there and those that want to leave can leave from there.
Other suggestions?
Sorry Lomag I know this is in the wrong spot but I was peer pressued into putting it here first to get some attention. I know some people dont visit the meets and greets forum much... aka myself included...![Whistling](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/whistling.gif)
P.S. I voted for 6/24/06. I still have class on Sat till 6/17/06

Hehe... Peer pressure.
I'm down for any date you posted. The month of May was no good for me or the first weekend of June. Hopefully, we can finalize a date within a few days.![Big Grin](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/biggrin.gif)
I voted "Don't care as long as it's a Saturday." I could have voted the same thing for Sunday too. Don't care what we end up doing.

Depending on the date, I might be interested in a Saturday meet.....if you would let a Central Coaster crash a Southern Cal meet

All are welcomed! Even the NorCal folks... C'mon, my530i and EuroCarFan. Make it a road trip for the weekend! I will gladly return the gesture whenever the NorCal folks have another meet. I have family in Stockon.

I'm thinking about going down there for weekend. If anyone wants me to install paddle shift kit, I can do it for you. If anyone has SMG and wants to convert to M5 SMG, please let me know so I can prepare. Each car takes about 40 to 50 minutes to install.
I can do navwithTV, too.![Big Grin](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/biggrin.gif)
Anyone in Bay Area will go down there, too?

Of course, I will not be watching while driving! I can watch DVD the next time g/f goes for pedicure/manicure. Spent a hour at Target last weekend walking aimlessly around while waiting...
Yes, you can watch DVD on i-Drive display. The i-Drive interface can be bought at this site for $199:
Name: Kim, Mi-Ri

Just ask for the "E60 interface module"

Hey EBMCS03...mind if we merge this with the Meet and Greet thread I started? PS. I still need to give you the shirt from the San Jose Meet...maybe we should get together to plan the So Cal Meet.
