Bugger, cannot make it that weekend.
Hope you can work something out. Its about 1000km drive from Copenhagen to Munich, so it will great if we get a few of us cruising down together. Google maps says its a 10 hour drive, but I think it might be a little quicker than that...

OK, I'm starting to get into the detail now and thought about another approach to the Saturday, which means MORE DRIVING In simple terms, we stay at a Hotel in Munich close to BMW Welt and move everything forward, i.e. only one Meeting point at BMW Welt in the morning at around 10:00, then at around 11:00 into BMW Welt, followed by lunch there. Then at around 13:00 or whenever, we go out for the cruise.
THE "MORE DRIVING" PLAN...
Saturday 13th June: "THE MEET"!!
(Assumes those travelling in on Friday stay in a hotel in Munich, near BMW Welt)
10:00-11:00 - Meeting point at BMW Welt; meet up, check out cars, group picture outside BMW Welt
11:00-13:00 - Visit BMW Welt and lunch. (We can be flexible on when we leave.)
13:00-17:00 - Approx 4hr cruise in the region. Plan route to include short stop-offs to re-group / re-fuel / comfort break.
17:00-18:00 - Finish at a location, for example Starnberger See, where we can have a drink and then either depart for home or hotel in Munich city
What do you think ???
Come on, chime in

Questions!
For those coming from the north, is there a planned caravan south? Like say from Hamburg or something?
We are looking at leaving from Finland on 9 June, be in Stockholm on the morning of 10 June, and then slowly drive south. We will stay over night in Copenhagen on 10 June, then head for northern Germany on 11 June. Those dates are adjustable as well.
Also, what is the hotel "near" Munich for 12 June (Friday)?

I am up for that. I am crossing the afternoon of the 11th and driving down through Germany on Friday 12th. If you can suggest a meeting point 3 to 4 hours from Calais, or better still a hotel, let me know.
