Welcome on board by the way.
We'll kick off the list soon, so I'll make sure you're on it, as well as any PMs being sent to attendees.
Some local knowledge will come in very useful

We are working on this!

Our summer road trip to Central Europe is getting shorter every day due to work, summer cottage remodel and more work.

Admit it, you're not interested in the factory, you just want to race Andy545 on the autobahn Now that I would like to see!

Well if you come to Germany you could buy your mods there and not have to buy them all from your expensive Scandinavian suppliers... so see it as a "cost saving exercise"

(OK, that's a bit lame, but give me time and I'll have all the excuses you need )

Don't hesitate to ask for help on german parts.
Would be no problem to ship them anywhere.

I'm looking forward to that meet. Just can't wait.

Good stuff

With 5 weeks to go, I guess we could actually slowly start organising this meet... looks like I have something to do at the weekend. I'll get a list started and post up the latest ideas regarding routes etc.

OK, time to get the plan and attendee list locked down...

Friday 12th June: OPTIONAL
Stay at hotel outside Munich. Choose somewhere which will give us a "good cruise" to Munich/BMW Welt the next morning

Saturday 13th June: "THE MEET"!!
Possible time plan below - If we want more driving, we start earlier or finish later! I am really up for LOTS of driving
09:00-10:00 - Breakfast / check-out / meet up in hotel car park **Meeting point #1**
10:00-11:00 - Cruise from hotel to BMW Welt
11:00-12:00 - Meet up with others, check out cars, group picture outside BMW Welt (I believe there is somewhere on the grounds where we could park to do this). **Meeting point #2**
12:00-14:00 - Lunch and visit BMW Welt (we can shorten this stay if we'd rather be out driving!)
14:00-17:00 - Approx 3hr cruise in the region. Plan route to include short stop-offs to re-group / re-fuel / comfort break.
17:00-18:00 - Finish at a location where we can have a drink and then either depart for home or hotel in Munich city
18:00-open end: Check in to hotel and head out into city for meal & drinks

Sunday 14th June: OPTIONAL
After breakfast, most people will initially be heading "west" from Munich, so we could do another cruise to a location for lunch and then go our separate ways home. Alternatively, we simply head off home straight after breakfast to beat the traffic.

-- I am going to need help with hotels and route planning. Maxwell already offered, so let us know what you can do. Some of the guys who signed up at the original date also did a lot to help, so maybe can provide inputs again. thanks in advance guys
