Good idea Andy... does Playboy sponsor these kind of events? just realised, I invited the wife

Last time round we struggled getting members aware of the meet -- I've PMed a number of members from the Benelux list that BMW ///M 525xi put together, but thats about it. It would be helpful if everyone updated their signatures with a link to this Post -- copying my signature picture in is also an option, MacSid has already done it

As for incentives -- assuming no-one is going to offer cash!! -- we slowly need to think about the venues which we will drive to. The meeting point is fine at BMW (especially as its on everyone's NAV disk!), but we need to think about the lunch venue and then where we will head to for the afternoon venue. I really enjoyed where we went to last time round, but maybe something a little more elaborate and adventurous is in order this time round? In the evening we'll end up in Maastricht near the hotel.

So lets get those creative ideas flowing...

Well if you want more E60's, i probably can get you more. I'm on other forums in dutch too, i can setup something.
But it's just; if i can't make it then, they won't have a "connecting member" and they would feel disappointed if i convince them to come and then i can't make it...

More reason to attend !

Ypres can't be that far (just checked: 250 km). For me its about 200 km. You also have the possibility of making it a weekend in lovely Maastricht.

Get the number of participants rising and join this meet including your friends from the other forums, who should subscribe to this forum anyway

looks like it would have some great photo venues

Here is a web site with a load of info about the SPA region -- its in Dutch and French, so I only understand half of it, but the pictures look good! No doubt some of you Belgian and Dutch members can have a little scan for anything appropriate for us...
http://www.spa-info.be/tourisme/NL/spa&amp...attractions.php

(Maybe we could get "SPA water" interested in our event and help organise a venue and lunch for us -- maybe wishful thinking, but "don't ask, don't get"!!)

The only things I can think of are trying to cut some sort of deal with the places where we'll be having lunch and the afternoon stop, plus, possibly wherever we end up for dinner, for those of us who are overnighting in Maastricht.

I did try my luck at some sort of deal with the hotels but, with only 4 rooms being needed, they weren't biting.

Hotel bookings are done, by the way, and I have PM'd Hondik, xBMWx and Thyrus the confirmations. Anyone else needing rooms, please do ping me directly.
