Sure do, but I have yet to feel the "comfort." In fact, I had a better outcome with the standard seats on my 530xi...hurt my back initially but I got very used to them in a few months. I can't get used to these at all, no matter what I do.

I have talked to a few others who also find the seats uncomfortable. There's always one guy who complains about things others love...that'd be me!

WOW, sorry about that, Dave, my 550 is the most comfortable. Even Mrs. six agrees and she isn't very easy to please.

We have driven from Atlanta to Naples for years and always had to overnight in Ocala. First trip in the E60 we made with no stop. Now drive all the way and I even let her drive I she behaves.

The worst (as a pasenger) was in the first model (I forgot the year) Ford Explorer. I rode in the back end of a buckboard that was more comfortable.

The comfort seats, for me, were probably the best option I put on the car.

I'm sorry to hear you're not getting on with them Doc.

Seems to me they are definitely Marmite ( Love or hate)

Sorry to hear you don't find the Comfort Seats to be comforable. I love mine and find them to be a huge improvement in support and comfort over my E39 540i Sport's seats and my Infiniti M45's seats.

2 come to mind for me (one production and one pre-production): The production model was an old Fiat 850 that my brother restored (pictured below). So low to the ground and not made for anyone over 6' in height. My fillings rattled over every imperfection on the road.

The most uncomfortable pre-production car (and in fact the only pre-production car I've ever driven) was a first generation Corvette ZR-1. It was fast as hell but the seats were awfully uncomfortable. Pushed it up over 120 MPH on I-75 in and around Grand Blanc, MI with a member of the Royal Family in the passenger seat (he was a member of the Board of Directors of the parent company, and was in town for the grand opening of the US subsidiary, and GM sent down some "toys"). He outdid me and pushed it to over 130 MPH on the return trip.

I was given a brand new IS250 as a loaner when my Lexus was in for service and the car was somewhat OK for me, I'm petite 5'3 so any Japanese will do. On the other hand, my boyfriend is 6'3 and he could not fit, at all! He would tilt his head to the left could not sit straight and he was so far back...it felt really odd, definately no eye contact while driving...
