May 14, 2008: spinal fusion surgery at L5/S1. 7 hour operation at the Hospital for Special Surgery. Out of work for a month. Was not allowed to pick up more than 5 pounds for 3 months after the surgery. But I fully recovered, have no more pain or numbness and am fine now. I'm very lucky that I had a great surgeon.

Suspension, you could virtually feel everything on the road. Steering is a bit hard. When the top is up, too many blind spots. Over-all seating position and cockpit is just not conducive for driving more than 25 miles to a destination. 
I must say the 997 is a much better 911
