2006 Lexus RX-350. Biggest POS on the planet! It only had 26k miles and the thing sounded like a creaking boat. Every compartment door was loose, panels loose, the car pulled to the left like nothing else because of the crappy front wheel drive, the road noise was terrible, and there was a constant groan from the POS engine. I beat the crap out of the transmission and the thing shifts like a mule when you are manipulating the gears. And the traction control sucks.

An overpriced dressed up Toyota...

Ouch, that hurts. I guess you've never driven a Series IIa.

For me it has to be a 1980's era Plymouth Voyager mini-van. Crappy seats, no feel for what the car was doing (steering, suspension), anemic engine, three speed slush box, and ANY adverse road condition would lock up the crappy drum brakes with no warning. It was the most useless vehicle on the road that seriously made me fear for my life while driving. It even beat out a 3 cyl Geo Metro.

The most uncomfortable car I've driven recently, was a 2008 Lincoln Navigator! On a drive from Rancho Mirage back home, the ergonomics were SO bad my knee started to hurt within a half of an hour, and I still had a couple of hours to go!! The car is powerful, comfortable (as a passenger) and well appointed, but Ford just cannot figure out ergonomics to save themselves!

Ford Escape.

#1 in lack of power, lack of comfort, lack of control, and lack of taste.

Worse than driving a bus probably.....

You said uncomfortable. That doesn't necessarily mean it wasn't cool as well. When I was in high school, my friend's dad was an exotic car dealer. He was really nice and would let us drive cars in exchange for doing detail work. I felt like the luckiest kid in the world. Anyway, he had this red De Tamaso Pantera, which already was old at the time, but still looked great. He let us take it out one Saturday night. It was a blast--the acceleration was phenominal (or so it seemed to a couple of kids), the engine (351 Cleveland, I think) roared, and everybody stopped to look. The downside is the heat coming from the engine made it unbearably hot. The seats were not ergonomically designed, to say the least. You could feel the springs. Even at 17 years old, I woke up the next day with a backache. What a fun car, though.

Looked pretty much like this:

Can't agree with you FP on the 2008 Navigator. I rented one for two months (Jan and Fef of 2009) when I was in LA. I drove it and my team of coworkers all liked it. I thought it was comfy.

As for uncomforable, the 2009 Corvette takes the cake. Whoever designed the seats should be shot.

Seats? Those are "seats" are operation tables for a spinal tap
