The good news: Here in America a Negro rose to the office of President, just as Martin Luther King predicted forty some years ago. Truly remarkable.
The bad news: Today our august body of U.S. Senators voted to raise an admitted tax evader to the office of Secretary of the Treasury. Also truly remarkable.
