I don't believe the PS3 decodes TrueHD audio.
Are you sure? I'm fairly certain that it does but then I don't own a PS3. As of v2.10 it also support profile 1.1

As for the S300 supporting TrueHD with a receiver that is capable.... it should work. But the uncompressed 48/24-bit PCM audio found on many recent titles is amazing.

PS - Last night, I had some friends over and we watched the Bourne Ultimatum in Blu-Ray in my theater room with this TV. They all said it was better than being in an actual theater and couldn't believe how amazing the picture quality was. Of course, the Blu-Ray makes a huge difference but the display on this TV is just outstanding. You can't go wrong. Get it!
Where did you get Bourne Ultimatum on Blu-Ray?

Have you seen this TV by Sony? I've seen it in person and it's mind boggling how good this picture is, but then again, the price tag is just nuts! Hahaha!

Thanks C! Likewise, I'm more of a Panasonic/Pioneer fan, but based on your feedback Sony's certainly a strong LCD contender. Btw, is the decimal point off on that 70" LCD price tag? 35k?? crist!

Whoops...I meant HD DVD. I have the LG Dual Format Player, so I can't even keep track which is which anymore. I just put the disc in and watch with amazement.
