+1!!!
They have changed the rules, qualifying ect. several times during the past years and I can hardly recall F1 being as boring as it is now!!

A huge difference is also made by the complete testing ban.
Race weekend Fridays is the only testing that is allowed.
Yes, they try to save some money, too much I would say

Some (including me) would say McLaren got punished too harshly in the recent past so I guess these things even out.

But it is a 12 month suspended sentence. Who knows what else McLaren can attempt to get away with in that time.

This isn't a sport anymore. I'm getting tired with each race. I say race because it's almost impossible for something to not go wrong in a race. Someone is trying to cheat someone, most of the fate is decided in Courts or by FIA....WTF?! Where's the racing FIA? Where are the overtakes and excitement you promised?

About the engine: It's 8 engines for the whole season. The ninth gives a 10 place penalty in the starting grid.
A huge difference is also made by the complete testing ban.
Race weekend Fridays is the only testing that is allowed.
Yes, they try to save some money, too much I would say

Then ferrari can test any new parts at every race from friday, saturday and sunday and if it works with reliability, next race its in the ferrari car. This will get around the test ban in my opinion.
I am sure Mclaren can get valuable data from the engines it sells on to BrawnGP and force india even though the latter might be an older design engine.
