How KERS affects your viewing I have no earthly idea.

I like this qualifying system because it forces all the cars out of the pits & unto the track, no sitting watching TV by the top drivers until the last minute. But, I agree that the fastest time of the qualifying session should be for Pole. So the change I would make would be:
Q1) Prime tires only (if dry) & all cars start with the same (heavy) fuel load, with the 5 slowest knocked out.
Q2) Again, prime tires only but now all remaining teams must lock in (and declare) their fuel loads for the start of the race. Top ten fastest move on to Q3.
Q3) Whatever tire & fuel load you want, fastest guy gets P1 and yes, 1 championship point & pole becomes the 2nd tiebreaker. (1st, most wins.)

Well, MS and Ferrari was and is the best there ever was, like it or not.

Only Fangio is over that...

The car weighs and the starting order for tomorrow are as follows:

Jarno Trulli Toyota 648,5 kg
Timo Glock Toyota 643
Sebastian Vettel Red Bull 659
Jenson Button Brawn 652,5
Lewis Hamilton McLaren 652,5
Rubens Barrichello Brawn 649
Fernando Alonso Renault 650,5
Felipe Massa Ferrari 664,5
Nico Rosberg Williams 670,5
Kimi R?ikk?nen Ferrari 671,5

Heikki Kovalainen McLaren 678,5 kg
Kazuki Nakajima Williams 680,9
Robert Kubica BMW 698,6
Nick Heidfeld BMW 696,3
Nelson Piquet Renault 677,6
Sebastien Buemi Toro Rosso 678,5
Giancarlo Fisichella Force India 652
Mark Webber Red Bull 656
Adrian Sutil Force India 679
Sebastien Bourdais Toro Rosso 667,5

I hide my story down here.
Referring to some Ferrari F1 decisions, I still don't use Shell products...

And I really don't understand, why Kimi against his own will, didn't get to
save one softer compound tire set for the last Q3 stint today???

As Nicki Lauda said:
The Italians are so not understandable in anything but spaghetti

I kind of have this thing against Toyota. Hoping they go win-less in F1 forever.

Plus it is nice to see a new talent on the rise in F1, I am becoming a Vettel fan.

I like his style too. BMW made a terrible mistake leaving him go. They should in fact fire Heidfeld, and keep Vettel and that way have two young guns very talented that would really compete each other. Also that way the German ego would have been untouched (if there is one at the leadership of BMW F1-i suspect it is).

And what about this new team, brown gp?

Till yesterday they didn't exist and now they are the best....... How is it possible?
Someone must have told them rules 1 year before..

Plus some have kers (that electrical thing, I don't know how it should be written), others haven't.. Diffusers, other no diffusers.. It isn't clear for me.

Bahrain GP results:

1. Jenson Button Brawn 1.31.48,182 2 pit stops
2. Sebastian Vettel Red Bull + 7,187 2
3. Jarno Trulli Toyota + 9,170 2
4. Lewis Hamilton McLaren + 22,096 2
5. Rubens Barrichello Brawn + 37,779 3
6. Kimi R?ikk?nen Ferrari + 42,057 2
7. Timo Glock Toyota + 42,880 2
8. Fernando Alonso Renault + 52,775 2

Congrats to Brawn GP and Button, once again.

Vettel did also great, once again.

Other "winners" was Lewis and Kimi with perfect driving.

Ferrari did, of course, mess Kimi's 5th place with a tire change problem.
even if Massa killed his own front spoiler in the first curve driving into Kimi (see pic).

Just waiting for Spain, two weeks from now.
I hope Ferrari will get their act together.

To CWS530, this was a boring race.

It's possible because the former Honda team (which of course became Brawn GP) had made it pretty clear they were effectively giving up on the 2008 season to concentrate on the development of their 2009 car. With the results so far and their transformation from back markers to front runners it's pretty clear that was a very wise decision for them.

And all the teams get the rules at the same time...
