As a side note and basically using Doc's example above of how it should be done -- and not how I've done it with my spacers questions
-- we should continue opening new topics on mods questions etc. outside of this Lounge, so that others can see them and benefit from the responses provided. There is obviously going to be cases where they are discussed in both places, but I'm sure you know what I mean!

I just reserved the number plate for my new Touring and managed to get "M 530" (which goes behind the city's lettering). Sorted!

I have a question about the Sprint Booster...
My 530dA has allready 183.000km on the counter. I'm afraid that a Sprint Booster can cause damage to engine/transmission with that much kilometers on the counter. What do you guys think?

Doc, i see you have the Eibach Pro-kit installed to lower the car. I'm thinking about installing the same lowering on my M3. I've only 1 concerne about this lowering: Does this lowering make the suspenion much stiffer?

Should be any problem.
The SB just changes the throttle reaction/response. It doesn't do anything to the motormanagement.
Go for it, I think it's worth it (as many here...)

As Doc wrote with the SB, do it!!
Based upon my research here in the forum, it makes the (electronic) throttle provide higher voltage sooner, but does not exceed the maximum voltage that is normally used without the SB. In turn, when you press the throttle 75% you are already at "100%" and no more power comes. It does put any additional strain on the car. All it does is gives you the power quicker when you need it. You will simply learn to be more gentle with the throttle (after a couple of days), but when you need the power and press the pedal it comes MUCH MUCH quicker.
I hope that all makes sense and puts your mind at ease!
