I doubt if Santiago was doing 120mph when his better half took the photo's. Probably slowed down in to the slow lane to let the two pass. Otherwise that V40 in front is a Q-car in disguise. Or else Santiago's E60 front end now looks like a Volvo.
I've never driven on the autobahn, but visually, I would have thought the gap between the F430 and CGT was a bit close for 180mph.

The wonderful thing about the autobahn is that most parts don't have a speed limit, and they're built for safe driving at speed (smooth surface, curves and grade changes are very gradual, etc.), and the left lane is for passing (you won't get stuck behind some idiot going 50 MPH in the left lane who refuses to move over!).

m5lover, there is. the stretch of 280 south of 92 for a few miles. i heard that it was patterned after the autobahn. don't know if it's true but it sure feels like it driving it. wide open and very gradual curves. but there is a problem...calif highway patrol
