I'm sure they will... but for people that have bought the 50D, it will cause some inconvenience until the patch comes out.
well that what you get for being white mice
If you can wait, I would buy the 5Dmk2 after new year but not right now

The 5D Mk II eats to much into my budget. I'll only be able to get one lens if I get the 5D Mk II, and I need a couple of lens. Moreover, the continuous shooting is a little slow (continuous shooting of 3.9 FPS and not sure what the buffer is) because the 5D Mk II is more for portrait work and I do some sports photography. I'm going to go with a Canon 50D or a Nikon D90.

You don't go to the Macau Grand Prix? I shoot motorsports mostly. For this about 5 FPS is good.

Checked both the Apple and Adobe support lists and neither the Canon 50D or the Nikon D90 is listed. So I called Apple customer support and they told me that RAW support on Mac is available for the D90, but they are not sure if the 50D is yet. I also called Adobe and got a, "We will have to confirm and then respond to your query."
RAW Support for cameras would be released AFTER the cameras are released to market, not before.

That would make sense.

Everyone! You'll be glad to know that I've come to a decision. A decision I may get some flack over, but I'm willing to live with that! Drum roll please!

I've decided to go with the Nikon D90~ Why? Because the Nikon rep and the manager of the camera shop I deal with, made me an offer on a Nikon D90 kit that I could not turn down!

The kit consists of:

- Nikon D90 body
- AF-S DX VR Zoom Nikkor ED 18-200mm F3.5-5.6G lens
- AF-S DX Zoom Nikkor ED 12-24mm F4G lens
- MB-D80 vertical grip
- EN-EN3e Li-ion batteries (2 - for MB-D80)
- SPEEDLIGHT SB-800
- Nikon NC filter (2 - for lenses)
- MC-DC2 remote shutter release
- Nikon SHOOTING BAG 1 gear bag
- SanDisk Extreme III SDHC 8GB Card

For a ridiculously low price! On top of that, due to the price difference of my previous camera kit and the new one, I will get to pocket almost half of the insurance settlement. How can you beat that? To all those that gave me their valuable advice, I am grateful and to those who impressed upon me the benefits of Canon, I apologize~ This decision does not mean that I don't appreciate the virtues of Canon DSLRs anymore. So be gentle when you start lambasting the choice I made. Much thanks everyone!

Spend the rest on the 70-200 f2.8 VR lens. It's fantastic for sporting events, especially on a DX camera. I even added the 1.7 teleconverter for more range.

Here is the lens at 70mm. You can see I was high up in the stands and had crowd issues at the start of the race.

Here is it with the 1.7 (at 300mm) shooting to the far side of the track during the less crowded practice sessions. This is only a slight crop and resized to 1200 to fit the screen.
BTW, that's hand held at 1/160 (@ 300mm!!) with the monster lens on the camera. Imagine what it could do on a tripod in the press area.
