I guess with the E60 5er we can attract corporate or professional women.

The M3 will attract 20 something dizballs (No offense)

no, e60 will attract all the women but m3 will only attract young ones. this means the chances are bigger for us .

This is something I realized, talking to my girlfriend. Women, at least the non-gold-diggers, don't know the difference between a 325i and an M3. Nor do they really know the difference between a 525i or a 545i -- all they can tell is that it's a 5er or a 3er or a 7er (if that -- at least a couple of my girlfriend's friends can't even tell the difference between the series! -- they think in terms of brands -- Porsche, BMW, MB, etc.). So he can hate all he wants, but he's still driving a 3-series (albeit on M-steroids), whereas you're driving a 5-series that's still got a lot of muscle. Therefore, you stand a much better chance of impressing a woman if you have a 5er than a 3er. Quite frankly, I find it a turn-off when a girl knows everything (including the prices) of various luxury cars but doesn't own one herself.

Oh and the final thing -- a number of my female friends in their mid-to-late 20s prefer guys driving sedans over coupes or sports cars, and non-modified, sedate cars versus big spoilers and wings. Their reasoning? Shows that the guy is mature enough to want to start a family, etc. In any case, all of this comes from dealing with mostly Korean women (who, in my opinion, are notorious for being gold-diggers). YMMV.

Hmmm - I've got a 2004 530i and a 2003 M3, and I didn't buy either to get women (been married for 35 years!) They are obviously two different styles and I enjoy them for different reasons.
