Excellent Rudy

Now, could you please condense the above into like 10-15 word sentence, preferably using short simple words - so that the rest of us, who don't wanna get a PhD in... whatever it is you wanted to say - could read it too
You probably ought to just spend less time here and more time over here then: http://forums.roadfly.com/forums/bmw/bmw-5-series-e60/

If you look at the OP's posts (all four of them!), he begins by posting about the transmission issue his dad's car (the 523) is having. No telling how old the OP is but it is not his car and it sounds to me as if his car experiences in general are limited...

Yeah, I realize the OP is not a spammer....I am merely just annoyed about the post and dont think he can warrant a post of that nature.....strictly an opinion.

I don't disagree, simply pointing out that his age could be part of the issue...

Much as I would like to rebute the accusations leveled at me regarding my age and experince with cars, I am reminded of the quote by Robert Quillen

?Discussion is an exchange of knowledge; argument is an exchange of ignorance?

I love BMWs and have grown up around them, it is regrettable if you have misread the intention or context of my post.

Best Regards,
bravo

Fair enough Bravo. But your post seems to be based on a bad personal experience and not any real data. If you and your father's experience with the car has been a bad one, I am sorry for that. I have found that posts on this and other forums remind me of my years managing a large restaurant. You typically hear the complaints but little from the satisfied customers. But both vote with their feet and their wallets. If the majority of the customers are having a bad experience, sales dwindle and the business suffers or goes away. Looking at E60 sales since the start of production, I would argue that the majority of BMW customers are not having a bad experience and are enjoying their cars. Not to say the experience is perfect...

My experience with my two E60's has been nearly flawless in more than five years of ownership and I fully intend to buy the F10 when my lease runs out next November...

OK, that is pretty humorous.....a kid from "singapore" has now quoted an "american" journalist from the 1940s.....I also find it humorous that you are "reminded" by this american writer...haha

Give it up dude. It is obvious you know how use google to find quotes but please do not try and act like 1) you know who Robert Quillen is and 2) you know ish about a BMW.

You started this post to create an argument as Robert so kindly put it and you got a debate....in which you lost.

Am I the only one to call BS here?!?!
I fail to see how the opinions of the OP fail to meet some narrowly defined test of authenticity yet the opinions of Mag75 do. Perhaps you are running for Judge, Jury and Executioner. Are you this hostile and disingenous to every poster with whom you disagree? Relax man. There is room for differing opinions on this site.

Another +1. Absolutely right, Juris335.
