Just got latest Roundel Magazine and it says spring '09 for release of F10, this coincides with the new MB offerings. The following are some more details:Slightly longer wheelbaseLighter version a front end aluminum space frameEight speed automatic4.4 liter TT V8 408 hpWide angel camera in side view mirrors

I'm glad its coming early, because I would want the bugs worked out before I get my next one in mid 2010.

Wait! Are you saying you're going to get a V8???? Aren't you the biggest anti-V8 person here? Or is it just that you don't like naturally aspirated engines?

Finally a Huckleberry! I was getting bored.

If you look at my signature I came from from a V8 545. This time I chose the 535 because I knew software was being developed that would make it outperform the 550. I love the 535i because of that and if I was getting another car today I would still chose the 535 vs. the existing 550.
Money is not an issue with me, other than my personal concept of value. Now with the availability of the TT V8, I will be trading camps again back to the V8. Will you guys accept me back into the fold?

Wait....you got this info from who????
Bob Roemer and his incredibly accurate "Heard on the Strasse" column??

I believe that's the same guy who wrote that the E60 would be delayed until the
Spring of 2004. I'd take his news with a grain of salt...

The only way you'll be accepted back in is if you make a thread titled "I SHUDDA HADDA V8!!!!!!" in the biggest, boldest letters possible! Ask the Admins for a font size exception if you have to.

(edit)
OH! And you have to setup a local meet with all the V8 owners so they can line up and give you the "V8" smack in the forehead!

If Roundel is correct, that would mean Bmw will release the new 7 series together with the new 5 series in the same year. I think that is a highly unlikely scenario.
