New F10 revealed: back to the "same jelly bean different size&quo

I agree with the original post, the new 5 is really plain vanilla in terms of styling and looks like a smaller knock off version of the new 7 series, they brought too many design ques down from the 7; the 5 lacks it own identity. Plus, for what it's worth, when the new 5 is viewed from a side angle it conjures up an image of a shark getting ready to take a big bite out of something, a little over dramatic on the front end styling in my opinion. Not saying I won't buy the new five at some point, maybe I'll warm up to it; but for right now I'm still in love with my E60 after 3 years of motoring.

Well... I have to say that this baby is deffo growing on me.
Still wish the headlights had a little more unique "style" to them, but overall I'm really liking the car.
Had a chance to check out the GT last week, and while it's not for me, it's a beautiful car.
It was a 550, had the new LED corona rings (love it!), 19" rims, the black/oyster interior was stunning,
the leather was insanely soft and comfortable. In person, though a hatch back, the 550 really does look sporty.
It was nice to see some of the styling aspects on the GT in person knowing that the F10 will have a similar interior etc.

Speaking only for myself, I got my E60 550 for the same reason that I leased my E39 540 -- the way the car drives. Looks do matter to me but not as much as how the car drives. I happen to think that the F10 is a good looking car and that it will look sensational with a M Tech kit and fly wheels.
