I have searched the forum but haven't found a problem similar so am posting a new thread.

I have a 2011 535i (F10) and the aircon stops working all of a sudden and just starts blowing warm air. This happens randomly such as after fuelling up the air con won't work. Driving along the expressway the aircon will stop working. It will start working again sometime after.

I have just had the aircon regassed and oil flushed but it is still happening. Aircon is great when it is working.

My thoughts are there is some sort of thermostat that is malfunctioning which is telling the system to stop blowing cold air as the desired inside temperature has been reached (although it hasn't) I am driving in Singapore so always around 30 degrees c.

Has anyone experienced this before and know how to fix it or troubleshoot it?
