My wife took the car in to the dealer today. They're going to replace the defective key fob on warranty.

Wiper blades were done. $100 Cdn for 2? (driver's and passenger's sides)

Do you know what make they are so we can shop around? Hope not to pay so much again.

Car is an '06 530 xit--one of the early ones from the serial number.

Regards,
DaveL

wow! that's about $80 USD just for wiper blades... whenever I go to the dealer for service my SA always offers to change the blades for free under warranty.. I just got my oil change on Thursday and they replaced the wiper blades again even though they weren't even worn out..

Early production date '06 may be out of warranty; What is the BMW Maintenance Program in Canada? [Different than USA?]

Five years ago I paid ?46 for a pair Bosch blades from the main dealer for my E34 ffs..........total rip off and they were not that much better than the ones I replaced !

I now run aero flat blades, direct replacement and work brilliant from Ebay for ?14 ( on my E60 )

Isn't your car still under the factory warranty? If so, BMW will replace them free of charge.

In Canada, they don't cover it
