Haha! Yes, but take into consideration that Providenceleaf is driving an X5 at these days! So the 18" might feel a bit small.

Go for 19" if you can. This winter has already convinced me that it could be a nightmare driving 19"s here.
Going from 21" to 18" ...a bit small is an understatement.

19" is good size and after first 100km, got to love 19"

I blew it off again this past weekend. The unusual warmer temps around here made me change my mind. I'll probably do it this weekend.

December is right around the corner and I'm sure freezing temps and snow are around the corner making my summer tires useless.

+8.5?C here today. And more of the same for the next 4-5 days.

I don't even have a reserved time yet to get the tires changed...

Oh well. I am getting the tires changed tomorrow morning, 08.00 at BMW.

It is nearly December, no snow here at all, and it is +5?C and raining.

Winter tires... Meh.

In Canada (Quebec) they have made it mandatory as of december 15th.

I was curious in knowing what some of you are running for the winter? Just picked up an E61 for the wife and need to decide very quickly what we will get for winters. Right know leaning towards Gislaveds Nordfrost 5's in the 225-50-17 size. We had been running NordFrost 3's on her XC70 these past couple of years. Thuoughts, recommendations are welcome thanks!
