I was just checking the weather forecast, and then some of the road cameras around Finland (especially up north where Anzafin and Seip??nreik? live), and it struck me that many have probably changed wheels/tires for the winter.

I haven't.

It is -3?C here now, but dry, and we are expecting rain all weekend, with temps around +5?C.

I wonder how much longer I can get away with this...

(It will probably snow now)

I have my winter set on. My wife and I had a short vacation in Vermont last week so I changed to my winters in case it snowed.

You're late! I'm in southern Scandinavia, and I'm already on winter tires.

My service department does currently have time to change my tires.

By law, I have to have them on as of 01 December.

We will see what happens.

Hey mate...its not the law...these are the most dangerous times when the winter is coming to southern Finland and there is a lot of "black ice" on the bridges etc.

You should swap the tires before you regret it
Of course if you are careful you can drive the whole year with that summer set

I have put mine on as well. Its starting to get cold in Norway now and i just left for 1 month work in Korea so i dont take any chances with my wife behind the steeringwheel and slippery roads.

Luckily I did it "force majeure" already one month ago. Than two weeks ago I took a business trip across Central Europe; Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Slovakia and Czech and most of the trip was under snowfalls.

Wow Finland 01/12 in most part of Central Europe it is mandatory from the 15/11. Unbelievable.

Not yet. Both cars still have their high performance set-up mounted. I'll probably make the swap in the next 3-4 weeks.
