So this INPA program, is it mainly for checking and changing settings? What are the top common uses for a DIY person?

 

Fault codes mainly, i believe its the factory system or something very similar.

I've only had a it a couple of weeks and found that i can sort fault codes, live data such as what my injectors are doing, battery voltages etc. You can then open certain modules up and play with settings (like i have with the suspension). I would think that theres a lot more than i've described

There are also several other programs out there, Progman which apparently gives about 20 options to adjust, none OEM stuff - so if you wanted your folding mirrros to close off the key fob etc.
